Ntsiki Mazwai (born 3 September 1980) is a South African poet, songwriter, and musician. She is popular for her outspoken thoughts and takes them to Twitter.
She most times get caught up in controversy as she always shares her opinion on everything and most times people do not accept them.
She is a person that speaks her mind on any subject and cares less about people’s reactions. She dragged people in South Africa to task after leaving her views on the xenophobia in the country.

She was born into the family of DR. Thamsanqa Mazwai (father) and Nontsikelelo Belede Mazwai (mother). Her dad was a journalist who raised her. The singer lost her mother at the age of eleven.
While she grew up, both of her parents were writers and once lead the Pan African Congress (PAC). They raised Ntsiki with her sisters, Thandiswa Mazwai (elder) and Nomsa Mazwai (younger).
Thandiswa Mazwai is a renowned musician, vocalist, and songwriter for the group Bongo Maffin.
She had her primary and secondary school education in Soweto, South Africa. Ntsiki furthered her academic career at IMM and obtained a Diploma in Marketing.
In 2002, she was already an underground musician this was while she was in college.
Ntsiki enrolled at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits University) and studied Entrepreneurship and New Creation in 2014 at Wits Business School.
She also enrolled at Rhodes University earning her Masters in Creative Writing.
Ntsiki is dating Litha Sunstone, who is not shy about his girl and proud that she speaks her mind.
The singer brought her boyfriend to the Comedy Central “Roast of Somizi/Ntsiki”. The couple walked the red carpet, holding hands, and posed for pictures.
The event was later renamed “the Roast of Ntsiki”, this followed because everyone had their claws out for the poet.

She began her career focusing on beadwork and poetry. The writer held performances showcasing her work at a pub (2002 – 2005). She began to gain recognition and build presence upon releasing uRongo.
She continued to gain popularity after releasing her first book Wena, a collection of her poetry. The book covered socio-economical development and addressed the traditional transitioning of society.
Ntsiki then produced the MaMa Said Sessions in Roodepoort Theatre, Gauteng. As a producer, she made sure that she optimized the opportunity to work on her music career and drop her first album.
She holds performances on her art here in South Africa and abroad and has gained recognition for mixing poetry and house music.
Her work has been recognized and earning the singer several awards. Ntsiki beadwork has also been appreciated and the career dates back to her days as a little girl and has bagged awards for her radical feminism and poetry.
She received the Ma Miya, Spoken Word at SAMA2013, Golden Circle youth award for community service.
Ntsiki bagged the LGBTI award for using Art for Social Issues in 2014. The same year, she received the Most innovative Student, Wits Business School (2014) and The House of Mobu, Beadwork Range (2014).
Ntsiki is most times credited as among the best poetry performances the country has produced. As a poet, she combines her poetry with music believing to bring literature and entertainment in one place through this.
