Kim Cloete (born on 25 August 1979 in Bonteheuwe, Cape Town) is a renowned television presenter, actress (stage and film), and businessperson. Many television viewers seem to like the actress for her being the host on the show Lunch Box, a popular show on SABC3.
Aside from being the host on the daytime talk show, Kim has gained popularity for being a cast on other popular series in the country. She has gained popularity for appearing on Isidingo, Binnelanders, among other South African soapies.
She has managed to make name for herself in the industry despite the level of competition thanks to her determined personality.

Her family background factor may have in a way associated with her choice of career. She was born into the family of Ivan D. Lucas (father) and Vinette Ebrahim (mother). Kim’s dad is a very popular actor in the country.
She has two (2) siblings Talia and Lehana and was raised in Bonteheuwel, a former Coloured township in Cape Town.
Kim had her primary and secondary education in Bonteheuwel, Cape Town. She attended Arcadia secondary school and was awarded a full scholarship to study in a higher institution. She then studied accounting at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
The journey in her love life is filled with bumpy roads. The beautiful actress fell in love with Rowan Cloete, an actor. The couple got married but the marriage did not last after they called it a quit.
Later in 2014, she found love again and decided to go public with her new relationship. She was dating Loukmaan Adams and the couple was later engaged. They couldn’t take their relationship to the next level after she called off the engagement in 2016.
Eventually, she met another actor Murray Todd and accepted his wedding proposal in September 2018. Both have been friends for over eleven years, she a proud mother of two children; a boy Duncan and a girl Leah.
As a television host, she has gained popularity for hosting the SABC3 LunchBox. Kim was the host of the daytime show for one year from 2008 until 2009.
She has also landed a presenting job on kykNET appearing on the show Zing! and Ontbytsake. As an actress, she has played several roles and appeared on many television series in the country.
In 2008, she landed the role of the beautiful Jacob’s lover addressed as Bille in season 3 of Jacob’s Cross, an M-Net drama series. In 2011, Kim landed a starring role in Colour TV, a comedy variety show on SABC2.
She has also appeared in other television series like Plek van die Vleisvreters and Villa Rosa on kykNET.
Kim was also on the popular Mzansi series and SABC2 soap opera 7de Laan playing the role of Jacqui in the first season of the show.
She is also a presenter, Kim has presented for top channels including M-Net and kykNET. She was the person behind the presenting role on the daily programming block for children Craz-E.
Kim alongside her husband and business partner, Rowan Cloete, runs Long Island TV. They have produced a Stook!
