David Vlok (born January 25, 1963) is a South African actor and former athlete. He is best known for playing Tim Voster in the soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold. He has appeared in many other television series and films.
The seasoned actor became a household name in the early nineties and two thousand. He appeared in thirteen seasons of the show and other productions too.
The television actor also played Gideon Bekker in Getroud Met Rugby. He appeared in seasons fourteen and fifteen of Binnelanders.

David Vlok was born on January 25, 1963, in Jagersfontein, a small town in the Free State, South Africa.
Vlok studied at Hoër Tegniese Skool Ligbron in Ermelo. After his matric, he pursued a course in speech and drama at the University of Johannesburg. He also obtained a higher technical diploma in Electronic Instrument Engineering.
David joined the movie business as a fight coordinator. He later worked as a stuntman in international pictures. Eventually, he started acting and started gracing the screen with roles.
The actor appeared in Egoli: Place of Gold as Tim Vorster. In 1985, he played a role in American Ninja, and in 1990, he played Police Officer in the film Reason To Die.

David Vlok married his longtime lover Anna Kordas in March 2005. His wife was an attorney for Johannesburg. The duo had known one another for eight years.
